Facilitators

Todd ConnorTodd Connor, MBA, Co-Facilitator

Todd Connor is a former management consultant, U.S. Navy veteran, and a reputable leader in both the public and private sector. He is a two-time entrepreneur and has helped lead the design of experiential career development programs for Crain's Chicago Business. His expertise brings together the best of networking, experiential learning, and civic exposure to deliver post-academic professional value for participants.

Todd is the co-founder of The Collective Academy, formally Flank 5 Academy, a professional development strategy firm, as well as The Bunker, an entrepreneurial support organization for military veterans at 1871.

Todd holds a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.


Emily DrakeEmily Drake, LPC, Co-Facilitator

Emily Drake is partner and CEO of The Collective Academy, formally Flank 5 Academy, working with Todd to deliver career and professional development solutions that benefit the individual and ultimately the greater community. She is a former public relations executive and non profit director and has helped launch large-scale initiatives and programs that are regularly "first-ever" within organizations.

As a licensed therapist, Emily's expertise is creating and implementing holistic career fulfillment strategies that center around strengths, purpose and potential.

Emily holds a BA from Augustana College and an MA from Northeastern Illinois University.
